华夏中文学校介绍

 

成立于2016年的华夏中文学校是一所高质量、非盈利的社区语言学校。学校目前有Belconnen、Woden、Gungahlin三个校区和在Red Hill Primary举办的课后中文班。

 

学校采用美国著名中文教育专家马立平博士为海外华人儿童量身定做的《中文》系列教材，由具有丰富海外教学经验和经过马立平中文系统培训的老师任教。教材和课程生动有趣，学习效果显著。学习四年左右基本扫盲。为了鼓励大家学中文，马立平奶奶还给华夏中文学校的学生们写了一封温暖亲切的信​ (PDF)。

 

学校的口号是”最快、最好地学中文”。招生对象是五岁以上具有基本普通话听说能力的中小学学生。除了中文班，我们还设有专家授课的绘画班、国际象棋班。

​

华夏中文学校的口语班在Woden (Canberra College) 校区，适合6岁以上非中文背景或方言背景的学生，以听说认和生活用语为主、写为辅，双语教学。

​

学费：中文班每学期$100，教材每套$101；其他兴趣班每课时$12。
家长活动收费：Gungahlin校区周日上午家长民族舞班$12一次。

从2024年第二学期（5月4日）开始，华夏中文学校Belconnen校区从Radford College搬至Canberra High。​

• Belconnen 校区 (Canberra High School)：中文班周六上午10点到12 点，兴趣班中午12点到下午1点

• Woden校区 (Canberra College)：中文周六下午2点到4点，兴趣班下午1点到2点

• Gungahlin校区 (Gold Creek High School)：中文班周日上午9点半到11点半，兴趣班11点半到中午12点半

• Red Hill Primary课后中文班：周二和周三下午3点半到5点半。

Canberra Chinese School

​

Canberra Chinese School (CCS) is a high standard and non-profitable Chinese community school in Canberra. We have three campuses in Bruce, Woden and Gungahlin. We also run after-school Chinese programs at Red Hill Primary School on Wednesdays. Our mission is to promote Chinese learning through providing quality teaching to the school aged children.

The CCS weekend Chinese program is suitable for children aged 5 or above with basic oral communication skills in Mandarin. We focuses on teaching Ma LiPing textbooks, which are highly recognised by Chinese language teaching experts around the world as the most effective model in teaching heritage children to speak and read Chinese. Students are able to learn 1,000 characters after four years’ learning with our highly qualified and experienced Chinese teachers.

 

The CCS after-school Chinese program is specially designed for the students from both Chinese and non-Chinese backgrounds. We aim for the students to learn Chinese effectively in a fun and natural environment, progressing through with plenty of games and lots of laughter at affordable prices. In addition to the Chinese classes, CCS also offers many interesting Chinese culture related learning activities such as art, chess and Chinese folk dance classes.

• Chinese class: $100 per term (extra cost for textbooks);

• Ma LiPing Chinese textbook: $101 per set；

• Other classes: $12 per lesson (unless otherwise specified)；

Canberra Chinese School Belconnen campus will be moved from Radford College to Canberra High from Term 2, 2024.

• Woden Campus (Canberra College): Saturdays 2:00pm - 4:00pm (Chinese), 1:00pm - 2:00pm (other classes);

• Gungahlin Campus (Gold Creek High School): Sundays 9:30am - 11:30am (Chinese), 11:30am - 12:30pm (other classes)

• Red Hill Primary After-School Chinese Class: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm

Gungahlin和Woden - 儿童绘画班 (Drawing Class for young children)

《用彩色铅笔打造儿童创意绘画》

教学目标： 年龄在5-8岁左右，有一定中文基础的学生。发展学生的想象力、创造力，激发绘画兴趣并体验绘画的乐趣。彩铅课内会通过实物教学，从最基本的工具的使用，如何构图，到如何用色彩增加层次感并且会巧妙地带入素描与色彩有机的融合等等，简明易懂，步骤清晰，也有很多示范的画法，不会乏味。
情感目标：锻炼孩子对不同的事物的观察和造型能力。
教学重点：各个事物形态特征以及色彩的深浅变化。
教学难点：线描中线条的流畅以及颜色的变化，观察图片、了解特征、进行想象！

授课时间和地点：Gungahlin和Woden校区

周六1:00-2:00pm (Woden) 周日11:30am - 12:30pm (Gold Creek High)

Gungahlin和Belconnen - 陈老师创意艺术绘画班 (Teacher Chen's Creative Art Class)

陈老师毕业于美院视觉艺术系，有广告公司平面设计工作经验，曾担任多家刊物美术编辑总设计。擅长培养孩子对画画的兴趣，拓展观察力及创造性精神。

课程招收对象：年龄在5-8岁左右，有一定中文基础的学生。

课程内容：速写，构图，色彩基础，艺术欣赏和美学教育。解读艺术大师作品，每周一个主题，鼓励孩子进行观察探索再创作，在有趣的课堂中体验多种绘画方式。在练好绘画基本功的同时提升想象力及审美力。

授课时间和地点：Belconnen和Gungahlin校区

周六12:00-1:00pm (Canberra High) ，周日11:30am - 12:30pm (Gold Creek High)

​Woden - Mandarin class with focus on Spoken Chinese

CCS opened a Mandarin class focus on Spoken Chinese in 2019. It also contained some reading and writing for both Chinese and non-Chinese background students. This new program provides beginner and intermediate Chinese learning and equips students with vocabulary and common expressions for everyday interactions in Chinese.

Requirements: Children from 6 years old.

Location and Time:

Woden Campus - Canberra College (2pm - 4pm on Saturdays)

Cost: $100 per term

Red Hill Primary - Canberra Chinese School After School Chinese Program 课后中文班

Location: Red Hill Primary School

Time: Wednesdays 3:15 - 5:30pm, Chinese lesson starts at 3:30pm

Cost: $230 per term (10 sessions per term)

Gungahlin 黄老师素描彩绘班 (Teacher Huang's Sketch and Colour Pencil Drawing Class)

课程招收对象：喜爱绘画艺术，有一定基础，年龄在8岁以上有一定中文基础的学生。

教学目的：培养美术修养，提高写实，抽象等艺术鉴赏能力，受益终生。

授课内容：系统讲述素描基础，色彩基础，使学生达到绘画俱形基本能力。

教学手段：讲授、示范、课堂及课外写生，评讲总结。

授课时间和地点：Gungahlin校区：周日11:30am - 12:30pm Gold Creek High School
